Designed and engineered public and unreleased “Factory of the Future” projects for the innovation of basketball manufacturing, including the Wilson 3D-printed Airless Basketball.

I designed 4 new protoypes for future generations of the 3D-printed Wilson Airless Basketball, primarily using Rhino 3D and Grasshopper. In depth digital simulation via Matlab, and full scale physical testing were conducted to asses any design improvements.

Physical manufacturing: 3D printing, injection molding, reaction injection molding, and rotational molding.

Digital programs: SolidWorks CAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, nTop, and Matlab, with exposure to NX and Catia.
